Making a splash in the Denon room is its new CEOL stereo network mini system, kitted out with CD player, iPod/iPhone dock, FM/AM tuner, internet radio, wi-fi, USB and DLNA compatibility.

Power is 2 x 65W, there is a USB socket and headphone jack on the front, plus a 3.5mm input for connecting other portable devices, plus support for FLAC 96kHz/24-bit audio files, Napster and LastFM.

The unit can also play music files directly from any connected DLNA Network hard disks.

Using the free Apple Remote App on the iPhone, you can select any song to play, with artist name, album name and track name appearing on the receivers display. A matching GUI display on the TV shows album artwork and track name.
